Microsoft has completed the Edge 103 test in the Dev channel, from the latest report gathered. It provides users with a new major version. Version 104.0.1271.2 is the first Edge 104 update in the Dev Channel, which includes several improvements and bug fixes.
The new features and more:
- Added a group policy that allows enterprises to limit the maximum length of username/password values added to the Edge Password Manager.
- iOS: Added a delete button for individual apps to the list of blocked external apps.
Reliability improvements:
- Improved translation in SharePoint.
- Improved the function of selecting the download location and whether the interface will continue to display the selection dialog to prevent it from being displayed again after the next accidental touch.
- Improved cache performance for profile pictures on mobile.
- Improved the sidebar search text string when reading with a screen reader to more clearly locate the area.
- Improved web select/web capture keyboard controls with multiple monitors.
Changes and Bug Fixes:
- Changed the behavior of one-time emails when choosing a password and calling the auto-save process on submit. Also updated priorities to auto-save on consent.
- Fixed an issue where the Download Center search bar would lose focus while typing.
- Fixed a crash when using the send tab feature.
- Fixed high memory usage from WebResourceRequested event
- Activates the browser/host application in windowed or visual hosting mode when lookup on the page bar is closed.
- Fixed a crash when reading aloud online.
Mobile:
- Fixed a crash when reading aloud online.
- Fixed a crash on AAD (Azure Active Directory) login.
