Samsung released the May 2022 patch update to its Galaxy S21 in the UK that improved Night Portrait mode, support for Auto framing, picture quality improvements, etc.

Samsung Galaxy S21 mobile was launched on 14th January 2021. The phone comes with a 6.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels at a pixel density of 421 pixels per inch (PPI) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Samsung Galaxy S21 is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Samsung Exynos 2100 processor that features 3 cores clocked at 2.8GHz, 4 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 1 core clocked at 2.9GHz. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S21 runs Android 11 and is powered by a 4000mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy S21 supports wireless charging, as well as proprietary fast charging.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy S21 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 12-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a pixel size of 1.8-micron; a 12-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a pixel size of 1.4-micron, and a 64-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a pixel size of 0.8-micron. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 10-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a pixel size of 1.22-micron.

The update is currently rolling out in Italy, but more European countries are expected to get the update within the next few days. Other parts of the world will get the update later this month. The new update brings the May 2022 security patch that fixes dozens of known privacy and security vulnerabilities.
Owners of the Galaxy S21 can receive notification of this update. By chance you don’t receive an update notification then check the update manually by going to the device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
