According to the latest reports, Carl Pei gave up OnePlus design and marketing roles to start the Nothing hardware business. While the existence of the Nothing Phone 1 has been announced, no specs have been announced for the phone, and its specs have now leaked online.
First spotted by Twitter user Raghvendra Singh Jordan, the so-called User Manual for the Nothing Phone 1 is currently available on Amazon. Contains key details of the phone’s specifications.

According to the leaked user manual, Nothing Phone 1 will feature a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that supports a 90 Hz screen refresh rate and HDR10+. The phone has a built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor and Adreno 642 GPU. There’s also 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The Nothing Phone 1 is rumored to feature triple cameras on the back consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, and a 2MP sensor. There is also a 32 MP front-facing camera that supports selfies and video calls.

Carl Pei is developing a new operating system called NothingOS, which is expected to power the company’s first mobile phone. In addition, according to the user manual, the phone will use a 4500mAh battery and support wireless charging.
As for when we’ll see the company’s first phone, Carl Pei said it’s considering a summer 2022 release. However, the user manual does not contain details on the official release date. OnePlus recently launched the default launcher for Nothing Phone (1) on the Google Play Store.
