Google Pixel Watch: some much new technology information tells that Pixel Watch is quite good

Google Pixel Watch

Good sources had revealed that the Google Pixel Watch has a very old processor. New information about the hardware lets you breathe a sigh of relief. Now a second source has confirmed the processor to colleagues. The four-year-old Exynos 9110 from Samsung is in the Google Pixel Watch. What is new is that there is another co-processor in the clock that is supposed to take over certain tasks.

Such an adjustment could ensure that Google promotes this platform as the Google Tensor for wearables. And would underline that you don’t always need the latest hardware, just the right adjustments. The co-processor could be responsible for real-time tasks like Google Assistant. Or also for low-power features like the always-on display. We’ll just have to wait and see, we can only speculate.

More data storage and memory than ever before

We know from the past that Wear OS is, above all else, hungry for random access memory (RAM). The Pixel Watch is said to have more RAM than any other Wear OS smartwatch in existence. That’s not an exact figure, but the Google watch is said to trump the previous top-of-the-line Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 with 1.5GB of RAM. I think around 2GB of RAM is realistic. The data storage should be 32 GB – twice as much as in the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4.

Fitness-Features von Fitbit

In addition, the 9to5Google colleagues found out that Google has brought in some features from Fitbit (a Google subsidiary). These include the heart meter, the ECG and the measurement of blood oxygen. Google is probably taking the hardware that is also found in Fitbit devices such as the Luxe and Charge 5.

I have to say, now I’m more in the mood for the Google Pixel Watch again.
