Google fans and especially friends of the Pixel series will very likely experience a veritable firework display of new devices this year. In recent months, it has become increasingly clear which new hardware is coming our way. And it’s more this year than in previous years. There are three Android smartphones, a Wear OS smartwatch, an Android foldable and probably smart earphones with Google Assistant again.
Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro
Of course, the two top models in the smartphone range for the later part of the year are as certain as the Amen in the church. Google will inherit the Pixel 6 models with a few changes and want to lead them into a new generation.
Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro details known so far :
- 6.3 and 6.7 inch OLED displays
- Google Tensor 2 processor (GS201)
- Modem with 5G from Samsung
- Slightly modified design
- Pixel 7 is smaller than Pixel 6
- The camera remains almost unchanged
- Release in autumn 2022
- Android 13 preinstalled
Google Pixel 6a
The cheaper Google Pixel 6a will be available earlier, possibly in the summer. It very likely has a Tensor chip integrated as its heart and looks close to the Pixel 6 smartphones, but it is a mid-range device for around 500 euros.

- Dual camera from Pixel 5 and Co.

Google Pixel Watch
Hardly any device has been expected for so many years and now it’s really coming. After tangible leaks in the previous year, more and more of the Pixel Watch has emerged, including images and technical details.
What is known about the Google Pixel Watch so far:
- Internal name: Rohan
- Official name: Google Pixel Watch / Watch Fit
- Samsung processor, 32 gigabytes of memory
- 300 mAh battery – approx. 40 hours of run time
- 3 Colors – Black, Gray, Gold
- Rubber strap in 20 mm
- Round design, simple look – approx. 40 mm
- crown + physical button
- Wear OS with Pixel Experience
- Fitbit integration including fitness sensors
- Next-Gen Google Assistant
- Several models, also with mobile communications
- Speculative: Operating gestures via the skin
- Possibly presented on Google I/O on May 11th
Google Pixel Notepad
There were hints and possibly even evidence that Google’s first foldable was christened Pixel Notepad. It’s supposed to come this year, although maybe only in the US for the time being.
This is known about the Pixel Notepad so far:
- Foldable with a large display on the inside
- Screen diagonal: approx. 6 inches outside, approx. 8 inches inside
- Price should be below the competition
- Most likely with Google Tensor
- The camera probably rather older model
- Release in Q4 2022, maybe US only
- Price possibly around 1400 dollars
Google Pixel Buds Pro
The last new device that we didn’t know about before is probably the Pixel Buds Pro. A more advanced variant of the Pixel Buds with various expensive features that are currently still missing in the Pixel Buds A-Series. Not much is known, but we have expectations.
