Elden Ring |
The famous Estus flask used by the undead of Dark Souls has become the cruet of crimson tears in Elden Ring, a drink with which we can soothe the wounds of our Lightless as we face the arduous battles that await us in the Interregnum.
The Elden Ring cruet took very little time to become as iconic as the Estus, for FromSoftware fans. As evidence of this, Reddit user Shots-by-Leo shared a recipe for a cocktail that tries to recreate the healing drink in real life.
Among the required ingredients are water, sugar, edible roses, lemon juice, blood orange juice, gin, white powder and edible gold. It could be considered a mix of elements that are far too bizarre, however, the final result (as you can see through the image you find below) is really appreciable and close to that of FromSoftware’s action RPG. As for the procedure, the Redditor recommends initially using a jar in which to infuse water and rose petals for at least an hour (even better if an entire night). At this point, it will be necessary to pour everything into a saucepan and add the sugar, then cook over low heat until the sugar has completely dissolved to create a rose syrup.
To create the cocktail, add lemon juice, freshly squeezed red-orange juice, Gin Empress 1908, edible white powder and gold leaf to a glass in a shaker. Then, add some ice and shake well, then strain and pour into the flask or another container of your choice (without the ice).
This is the umpteenth demonstration of how much the title has broken the hearts of fans. According to NPD Group analyst Mat Piscatella, Elden Ring continued to sell very well in April as well.
