Google is preparing its Pixel Watch for market launch. Leaks already reveal how much Fitbit is in it. The first photos have shown the upcoming Pixel Watch from below.
Where there are actually some technical data, Google has opted for cryptic words and phrases for its prototype. But the visible sensors reveal by their structure where they probably originally come from. This means several advantages.
Basically, it is to be expected that Google will integrate a lot of Fitbit for fitness, sports and health. Obviously, this does not only happen on the part of the software. The arrangement of the sensors at the bottom of the leaked Pixel Watch looks one-to-one like the sensors that Fitbit uses in Charge 5 and Luxe. In addition, the smartwatches measure your temperature, oxygen content, heart rate, cardio level, ECG and much more.
Fitbit donates software and hardware for Google Pixel Watch
As a source at 9to5Google correctly note, the established Fitbit hardware can be purchased cheaper. Google certainly wants to keep the prices of the Pixel Watch within limits, as with its smartphones. In addition, the error rate is likely to be low, because the hardware has been used in the Fitbit devices for some time and is therefore tested.
Bottom line
Google would underline for the first time why they actually brought Fitbit into the company. Since the complete takeover at the beginning of 2021, we have been eagerly awaiting the first results of closer cooperation. It seems to be the Pixel Watch that provides us with corresponding information. Probably as early as next May.
